tavern (chance to relax))

I open my mouth to say something against that, but nothing comes out. I try a few more times, but I still can't think of anything. I frown and pull out a fake id, sending my chakra into it. 'Wonderful...I'm not cheery enough to be a kid now...' I change into my older self and smooth down my trench, which now fits me perfectly. I walk over to the counter and tap it. "A watermelon vodka please. No glass, just the bottle." The bartender nods and passes me the bottle. I set the cash on the counter and pop open the drink as I sit on a stool.

*I listen in closer.*
Hmm, are you human? because you seem to smart to be one...then again Terry was the other human I met.

*I spin my stool around.*
Finding happiness is an empty search...
*I stop spinning and now my stool is facing the Wise stranger.*
But mortals always end up smiling and laughing along the way on that search..so it's a wonderful balance...

It's fun to see new places.

*I smirk slightly as I look over at Sadi thinking "YAY I'm not the only alcoholic one now" as I tdrink the rest of the glass of vodka and refil it from the bottle on the table*

I glance at Aeon before quickly turning away and back to my drink. I slide a straw in it and sip a bit before replying. "Of course you didn't. Why would I be upset? That's just your opinion..." I take another long drink of the vodka.

Terry, I see. He's what I'd call an optimistic human.
*I look at Fubuki* I can't argue with you there, we humans can be pitiful, but some would say it's a "strong" point.
I say the only strength come from yourself. Many humans fight for friends or family, they risk there lives for the appreciation of others....sometimes people they don't even know. Something I don't approve of. We don't truly understand our full potiental, we are flawed, broken, spiteful, rotten people...yet there are still people who risk their own..for something....so "wrong".

I look at him with a frown. "I'm not mad at you. Like I said, it's your opinion. You did put a nice little damper on my mood though..." I finish the last of the bottle and grin behind my mask. "It's cool though. Because, like happiness, depression only lasts so long."

I'd say that depression is more powerful that happiness *I stand up and my shake falls to the ground* Sorry about your mood. *I head for the door*

I use my wind abilities to ease the shake to the floor instead of letting it splatter. "Aa...I've been decent I suppose Terry," I reply as I get up and run to Aeon. "Oi...Sorry if I upset you now. Um...," I reach into my bag and pull out a small cookie box, "I made these the other day and it kinda reminded me how you wanted all those other ones. I thought you might like these too..."

*I lean back in the seat and stretch*

I wave my hand dismissively. "I said It's ok. If anything, I should be saying sorry to you. I don't know how good those cookies may be. It's a new recipe I was trying out. Supposed to be all tropical-like. Made with coconuts, 3 types of berries, pineapple, mango, and the usual cookie junk." I grin and scratch my neck remembering all the stuff I had to take out of the mix.

Tropical Cookies? This is new. Sound fresh though, something you could enjoy on the beach possibly.

If you are right, then the only thing that seperates us is the fact I'm almost immortal and your time can't be altered.

Being a savior shinigami, I'm not so different from you guys after all. I gain years on my life according to the person I saved. If me saving them saved them 20 years of life, I gain that much, it's the opposite of a regular shinigami.

But thats not the reason I help others...Saving people makes you feel good, or great even. ...yeah...it's a great feeling.
