I'm just bored and sick... XP

And Im sick of this video from 1970 on societies impact on the roles we assign genders at birth and throughout childhood... and how each parent acts differnelty with a girl chld then a boy child. In this class weve been talking about gender roles and shit for like two weeks... how much more can they try tro shove in my brain on this shit? Its getting very repetative. Damn I kinda hate Soc....

Oh speaking of which, are you giving up something for Lent this year? Since apparently for you its optional to do these things?

Of course... I'll give up some something... *Remembers last year* Ha ha Ha... We gave up cursing for lent and ever time we cursed we had to put a nickel in the curse jar. Curse Jars at the end of the lint month.... Kairi= 35 cents, Kumiko= $16.

Im thinking of giving up my much loved and sanity saving free time in exchange for study time.

Oh crap... I thought we had more time than that... *Thinks of past Lents* One year I gave up Ham... One year I gave up cursing... I really don't want to give up on any food... Then I be pigging out on that food idem when lent was over.

Lol yeah or pigging out on it on Fat Tuesday instead. But you dont have too much more time to figure out what it is your giving up this year, so get workin on it girl!
I wonder if im going to be forced to eat salads every Friday for the next month now... or if my school caf, being that the institution itself follows the same Lenten rules I have all my life, will only serve vegitarian on Fridays and piss off all the non Catholic students. Honestly I wont enjoy eating salads at all, I hate them, but I dont want to have to force others to not eat meat on Fridays when they dont have to.

Oh one year I even gave up Oreos for lent... That was hard. V.V

I gave up Reeses a few times.... It wasnt as hard as I thought it would be to give up my fav candy. But it certainly will be a challenge for me to give up my free time and make myself study instead. Always so many distractions XD. Especially for a stubborn procrastinator like myself.

What school do you guys go to?

Were in college XD. But I go to a Catholic college so thats why I was wondering about the meals during Lent.

Well... I don't go to the same school as Kumiko, so I can't answer that question. I just go to a community college near my house. Kumiko and I have been friends since Freshman year of High School... Then I moved away Junior year.

Suck you had to move away. I just did the same 6 months ago.

I moved 2 years ago... I hate it down here, I was so happy where I was.

No they dont really force you to, but its strongly recommended I guess you could say. I like it here because its a small school so Im not a number but a face. And I want to study some theology too so I figured it would be better than fighting my way through yet another religion class.

Kairi, all of us feel the same way when we move, mostly. But it was out of your control so why dwell on it?

I was just saying this is how I feel, but I'm adapting to it.
